Barrett, Bonacci & Van Weele (BBV) provided civil engineering and surveying services associated with the design of a 324,000 sf, 29-dock industrial warehouse on 29 acres.  The design services associated with the construction included: provisions for 1,100 parking stalls; re-routing of an existing sewer main running through the site; sizing and design of an on-site storm water management system capable of treating 120,000 cubic feet of runoff, and provisions for future expansion of the building.  The design of the site required close coordination with the Town of Brookhaven and the Department of Public Works to ensure the site met both the client’s needs as well as the requirements of the municipalities.
