We are pleased to announce that Kerri M. Collins, P.E. has recently joined the firm as an Associate and will lead our Traffic and Transportation Engineering Department. Barrett, Bonacci and Van Weele is now able to offer our private and public sector clients comprehensive services by providing Traffic Engineering in conjunction with our established Surveying and Civil/Site Engineering services. Ms. Collins has acquired over 18 years of transportation engineering experience serving both public agency and private sector clients. She has successfully completed detailed studies identifying traffic impacts, safety deficiencies and capacity needs for a wide array of projects. Her breadth of project experience extends from multi-million dollar planning studies, such as the Southern State Parkway Corridor Study, to completing traffic impact studies for residential, commercial and industrial developments, to completing neighborhood traffic calming studies working closely with residents and municipal agencies. Her areas of specialty include traffic impact sudies, traffic calming studies, corridor studies, intersection analyses, parking demand studies, pedestrian studies and accident analyses. Ms. Collins has provided expert testimony at public hearings in association with planning and zoning applications for private developments throughout Long Island. She is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Women's Transportation Seminar of Greater New York.
